Cooking Falafel (chickpea burger) recipe
Falafel (chickpea burger) ingredients 1/2 lb Dried garbanzo beans or fava beans water, to cover 1 tbsp. Chopped cilantro 1 tbsp. Chopped parsley 4 Green onions; chopped 2 cl garlic, minced 1 tsp. Cumin 1 pinch Baking soda Salt and pepper to taste. Water, to moisten, optional olive oil, for frying Cooking Falafel (chickpea burger) 1. Preparation time: 10:0 rinse dried beans under running water; place in the slow cooker and cover with water (at least 2 inches over top of beans) cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. 2. Pour off water; rinse under cold water and allow to drain. 3. Place cooked beans in a food processor. |
